Advice to Choose a Suitable Mixer Tank Truck
Author:HOWO POWER Date:2015-02-19
Everyone knows that the construction of infrastructure and real estate is inseparable from concrete, and concrete transportation is inseparable from concrete transport mixer trucks. So, how to choose a concrete mixer truck has become a big problem for many engineering friends, and I don’t know how to choose. Today, we will tell you the key points when choosing a concrete mixer truck to help you buy satisfactory concrete mixer equipment.
1. Choose according to road conditions
This road condition is directly related to the rear axle selection at the time of purchase. If the road on which you are running is very flat, usually on a road, you can choose a single-stage reduction bridge. But if the road surface is not particularly good, there are many potholes and stone roads and many ramps, then it is better to choose a wheel-side deceleration bridge.
2. Selection of tank volume
Small square volume concrete mixer trucks are popular now, compact and convenient. Of course, you have to buy them according to your needs, and there are also 10, 12, and 14 squares. Therefore, the volume needs to be determined first.
3.Judgment of tank thickness
The quality of the tank body of the concrete mixer truck mainly refers to the thickness of the tank body. Nowadays, it is generally 6mm thick manganese plate. The car owner can ask the manufacturer how thick the tank is. If it is less than 6mm thick, it does not need to be considered.
4. The choice of chassis and engine
There are many brands of concrete mixer truck chassis, and you can buy the chassis according to your preferences. There are also several options for the brand of the engine, and the suitable engine can be selected according to the fuel consumption.
5. The choice of tires
Generally, there are two tire options for concrete mixer trucks at the factory. One is steel tire and the other is nylon tire. The performance of steel tire is far better than nylon tire, but the price is more expensive, and the owner can choose according to economic conditions. It is worth noting that when buying this car, customers must first ask whether the car is equipped with steel wire tires or nylon tires.
6. The choice of three hydraulic parts
The three major hydraulic components are the focus of the purchase of mixer trucks. The three major components are hydraulic motor, hydraulic pump and reducer. Imports of the three major items are currently superior to domestic ones, with Germany ranking first, followed by Italy and the United States, and their prices are relatively high. The three major domestic hydraulic components have also done well in recent years, and they can be selected according to personal economic conditions.
7. Choice of power output system
The power system of the concrete mixer truck includes an engine, a gearbox, a transmission shaft, and a deceleration middle and rear axle. The domestic mainstream concrete mixer trucks cover a loading capacity ranging from 8 square meters and 9 square meters to 20 square meters. Generally, 8 to 12 square meters are three-axle vehicles, and 12 square meters or more are four-axle vehicles. The engine horsepower selection is generally about 300 horsepower below 10 square, about 336 horsepower for 10 square to 12 square, and 375 or more horsepower for 12 square or more. The gearbox generally chooses 9 gears with climbing gears as the most suitable. The rear axle is preferably a wheel-side reduction axle with a speed ratio of at least 4.5.
8. The choice of tank
The function of the concrete mixer truck is mainly on the tank body, which carries the transportation and mixing function of concrete, so a good tank body is also the top priority. First of all, the design of the blade curve inside the tank must be reasonable. A good blade curve can ensure that the residual rate of concrete discharge is extremely low. The most important thing is to ensure the uniformity of the discharge, that is, the concrete will not segregate (as the saying goes The water will not come out first, and then the sand will come out). Furthermore, the inclination angle of the tank body should not be too large. If it is too large, the center of gravity of the vehicle will be higher, which will reduce the safety of the vehicle.
Finally, for the complete concrete mixer truck, the after-sales service of the vehicle needs to be considered. It is best to have a local vehicle maintenance service station.
